This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Auriga Bebop  for mobile devices that was created by Auriga Software.

 The application Auriga Bebop has been developed and is based on the Software Development Kit  (SDK) provided by Parrrot SA company.

 Application Description

Auriga Bebop application allows to use the smartphone as a display for the viewing of images  in real time mode from  Parrot Bebop drone's camera and displaying the overlay flight parameters on the Head-Up Display (HUD).

 The application allows to display the images in the side-by-side mode for the using by the proper Virtual Reality (VR) Goggles.

Auriga Bebop application also allows to pilot the drone by Parrot controllers and set all  the flight parameters.

Information that application obtain and how is used

For the full working of the application it is needed that are used the sensors and some devices of the smartphone  such as:

 Sensors 

  • Accelerometer
  • Gyroscope
  • Magnetometer

 In the VR display mode, the smartphone is mounted inside of the  VR goggle, so that the use of its sensors is required to allow the movement of the drone's camera through the movement of your head (Head tracking function).

 Devices 

  • GPS
  • Camera back
  • WiFi, Bluetooth and USB port

 Location GPS

The use of the GPS device of the smartphone is required to detect the position of the Pilot with respect to the position of the drone so as to determine flight parameters such as speed, distance, direction and return home position (RTH).

Auriga Bebop application does not use this device for any other purpose or other use. The GPS positions  are not send to any other remote link.

 Camera back

In the VR display mode, the smartphone is mounted inside of the  VR goggle, so that the use of camera back allows to have the pilot viewing.

In this viewing mode you can watch the drone with the telemetry data overlay as in augmented reality.

Auriga Bebop application does not use this device for any other purpose or other use. The images are therefore not recorded or send to any other remote link.

 WiFi, Bluetooth and USB

WiFi, Bluetooth and USB are used to connect to the Smartphone the controllers and drones as the following:

  • Skycontroller 1;
  • Skycontroller 2;
  • Skycontroller Black edition;
  • Bebop1;
  • Bebop2;
  • Joypad bluetooth;

The application does not use this device for any other purpose or other use.

 User Provided Information 

Auriga Bebop application does not obtain any information when you download  the application and does not collect any information or data detected by its sensors or devices.

 Children

Our app has to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We pay particular attention to COPPA when creating apps that contain features that may cause the app to be perceived as being directed towards children under 13. 

We do not use the application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

 Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
